Under the dim lights of the 30,000 square foot 3rd Floor Mill, a violinist played in the middle of the room while people from all ages and backgrounds visited vendors, snacked on (what seemed to be) an infinite amount of desserts, sipped on coffee and juice and chatted amongst themselves.
Niki Devereaux, founder and organizer of the event, “Priceless Hamilton”, explains that the event is in support of fighting human trafficking and addressing the issues around the legalization of prostitution. In discussion of a serious cause, brilliantly, Niki thought it would be a great idea to lighten the mood with desserts. Thus, a dessert benefit gathering for a good cause came about.
The goal of the evening was to raise $6,000 for Hope for the Sold‘s documentary, “Red Light Green Light“. The result of the evening raised a total of $4,200!
Not a bad number, right?
Impressively, this 4th Annual Priceless Hamilton charity event first began in Niki’s apartment, then progressed to coffee houses, and then eventually to our 3rd Floor Mill. The event attracted 275 people who were served a whopping 1,450 desserts.
We are happy to have donated our space to this unique event and thank all those that took interest in the space. We also thank Red Hill Coffee Trade who recommended our venue to the event organizers and graciously served  coffee free of charge to accompany the deserts served .
