The Hamilton Art Fair  |  Where Are Intersects With Design

Hosted by the Cotton Factory, our first annual Art Fair has been developed to promote and support Hamilton’s vibrant art and design community. Meet artists and designers from Hamilton and surrounding areas at various stages of their careers. Learn about their creative process, purchase artwork, attend life-drawing sessions, presentations, and receptions.

“UNPLUGGED” 

Welcome to “Unplugged” a wellness-themed event designed by Daily Goods Design LABS (DGDL) and CoWork at The Cotton Factory, specifically for people in the art and design community. As part of the Art Fair, this event serves as a sanctuary from the digital world, offering a space to reconnect with oneself and others through meaningful, technology-free activities. “Unplugged” focuses on holistic well-being, addressing physical, mental, and emotional health in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Attending “Unplugged” offers a unique opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and focus on your well-being.

An intimate, immersive experience that brings us together through the act of storytelling. An audio adventure of true stories, told by the owner’s of the objects. Choose an object, listen to the story, and feel inspired to leave one of your own.

Echoes of Wind: Kimonos in Motion

An exhibition featuring the work of Designer Leslie Smith-Argona

KIMONO…”a thing to wear”…or…”a thing to put on” It’s origin Japanese “ki” wear…”mono” thing.

An installation of unique Kimonos focused on textures, layering, and blending of rescued and forgotten textiles, the wind representing the distance these fabrications have travelled to date.

Opens September 26 and runs until October 25, 2024
