It’s not often that we get to open our doors to the public, but at the arrival of the Spring Season, we always look forward to the rare occasion that we get to tour the public around our facilities for Doors Open Hamilton.
No matter which area our guests take interest most—be it, the history of our building, our tenants, the film shoots that took place here, or the adapted changes we’ve made to our building, everyone seemsto boost our enthusiasm throughout the event. Of course, this is a helpful reminder for how lucky we are to work in a unique place like ours!
While we are pleased with the outcome of this year’s Doors Open Hamilton, it all seemed like organized chaos during the two-day event. Thanks to our tenants, they made our jobs easier by sharing their experience renting their studio spaces.
Here are the a few of our tenants that had their doors open:
1. Ben Needham: owner and operator of Gorilla Graphics 2.Dianna Gordon: Artist, Web Designer and Curator of Art-in-Canada.com 3. Patti Beckett: Painter 4. Frances Cockburn: Painter with a show exhibiting at Odon Wagner

It’s tough to say that being here on Saturday and Sunday was ‘work’ because of the fun we had. Thankfully, More to that effect, rarely do we hear such positive feedback from those that came to visit us!
Safe to say, we’re happy that people were happy to be here. Maybe we couldn’t have said the same to our puppy guest, Roman. But count us in for next year’s Doors Open Hamilton event! See you next year!
